The 41st Annual TD Bank Reedy River Run is proud to announce its continued association and partnership with Fleet Feet Sports of Greenville. Once again the historic running event will partner with the local running specialty shop that is located at 635 August St, near downtown Greenville.
"We are extremely happy to continue our excellent relationship with Fleet Feet," stated TD Bank Reedy River Run race director Mike Caldwell. "Owner/operator Shelia McCullough has supported this great event for as long as we can remember and continues to bring new ideas and energy to the race operations." Once again the packet pickup will be conducted at Fleet Feet on both Thursday and Friday (April 19 & 20) from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm. Runners will be able to obtain their bib number, race shirts, etc during these time periods.
Fleet Feet will also provide one of the hydration stations on both the 10K and 5K courses. It will be located after the runners cross the new Cancer Survivors bridge as the course enter Falls Park on the Reedy and just before the long incline on Furman College Way.
Also, plans are being developed for Fleet Feet to provide "bag transport" for race participants from the starting area to the post-race festival area near the TD Stage at the Peace Center. Runners will be able to have personal items such as warmup shirts transported in a clear-plastic bag (received at packet pickup) with their name on it so they can retrieve the items following their race.
Fleet Feet will also be hosting a post race party for race participants from 11:30 - 2:30 pm on Saturday, following the race.
The TD Bank Reedy River Run 10K "sold out" its limit of 1500 runners in 2017 and has been expanded to 1600 runners for 2018. With the current trend of early entries, we expect to sell out the new limit. However, there is also a 5K which starts at 7:20 am (before the 10K). The 10K will feature a "staggered wave" start in 2018 to ease the flow of runners on N. Main St.
