Once you have your bib number you will proceed to the packet pickup tables and receive your personal race packet (bag) which will include the T-shirt that you selected during the on-line registration process. We will not have extra T-shirts to exchange at this time. Your selected T-shirt size is indicated on your race bib.

Train Smart and Run Strong!
The 2017 and 40th edition of the TD Bank Reedy River Run 10K will celebrate a few of the interesting course aspects experienced back in 1978. Although much of the route is different now, with the start and finish both on S. Main Street, the route will once again traverse the winding paths along the Reedy River in Cleveland Park.
With this nostalgic, but minor, change, from last year's 10K route runners will need to be aware of a few sharp turns and bridges. In the 7th kilometer runners will turn off of Woodland Way onto Woodland Way Circle. Then almost immediately the course will take a sharp right turn and enter the paved path which runs adjacent to the Reedy. Following the path, the route passes by--but doesn't cross--the "double (parallel) bridges" as it winds along the river. Then there is another sharp right turn as the shaded trail crosses the arched stone bridge heading toward McDaniel Ave. The "under" portion is next as the trail runs beneath McDaniel Ave before another sharp right turn leads onto the "Green Bridge" near the "airplane." Coming off the bridge the route follows the sidewalk from the park onto Ridgeland. From that point there is approximately one kilometer remaining before finishing on the Thomas C. Gower bridge near Falls Park.
With only six days left for on-line registration, our 40th edition of the TD Bank Reedy River Run is quickly approaching. If you haven't entered yet, please note that the 10K is limited to 1500 entries and we are over 1300 currently. We also have the 5K and the Youth Mile. www.tdbankreedyriverrun.com.
If you can't run this year, we encourage you to volunteer and enjoy the festivities. You can sign up as a volunteer at: http://www.tdbankreedyriverrun.com/volunteers.html.
See you in downtown GVL on Saturday, April 22.
The 40th running of the TD Bank Reedy River Run 10K will start and finish at two of Greenville's historic points. The start is in Court Square by the statue of Joel Poinsett. Among his many positions and responsibilities he was a physician, statesman and botanist. He is accredited for importing the poinsettia plant from Mexico. He also served as the US Secretary of War for President Martin Van Buren.
The finish line is located on the historic Thomas C. Gower bridge which crosses the Reedy River. Gower was the mayor of Greenville in 1870-71 and was responsible for building the first bridge across the river during his leadership. He was also the chairman of the city's first school board and a proponent for public education. The current bridge was renovated in 2001.
In remembrance of the first Reedy River Run 10K this year's course will once again include running on the paths next to the Reedy River as it flows through beautiful Cleveland Park.
After you finish the 40th TD Bank Reedy River Runs (10K, 5K or Youth Mile) plan to join us in Falls Park by the Reedy. There will be music provided by our guest DJ, presentations of the race awards, random drawings for prizes, and more. Refreshments from Jersey Mike's Subs, Coffee Underground, Great Harvest Bread Company, Southern Pressed Juicery and Table Rock Tea Company. We'll also have Fleet Feet Sports, Performance Therapy, Frigid Cryotherapy Orangetheory Fitness, Mountain Movement, TD Bank, The Greenville News, Touring Sport (motorcycles) and Without Limits on display. The fun begins right after your race and lasts until 11:00 am. A great way to spend Saturday morning in beautiful GVL.
We are proud to have been selected as the 2017 Road Runners Club of America South Carolina 10K State Championship. Champions in the male and female Overall, Masters, Grand Masters and Senior Grand Masters divisions will be awarded special champion's medals.
We are also happy to have Gatorade Endurance as our exclusive provider for our Hydration Stations for our event. We will provide Gatorade Endurance and H2O at our three hydration stations for the 10K and for the two stations on the 5K course.
We are happy to announce our refreshment partners for the post-race festival. Once again we will have those delicious subs from Jersey Mike's Subs, coffee from Coffee Underground, and samples from Great Harvest Bread Company. This year we also have Southern Pressed Juicery and Table Rock Tea Company joining the fun. So, after you complete your race crossing the Reedy River, head down the steps into beautiful Falls Park and enjoy the refreshments, along with some oranges and bananas. Enjoy the music, awards presentations and the refreshments.
And following our fun in the park, you can head up to Fleet Feet Sports on Augusta St to partake in some adult beverages provided by Michelob Ultra while you recap your morning run with friends.
In honor of our 40th edition of the TD Bank Reedy River Run 10K, we will be awarding a special finishers medal to commemorate the experience. The 10K is limited to 1500 entrants, so if you haven't registered yet, don't delay.
