How many years have you been running and why did you start?
Began running at age 22 after a 4 year college soccer career at High Point. It’s a long story as to how I ended up running but I really enjoyed the individual aspect of the sport after spending my life on teams.
What is your favorite running experience?
I recently ran 2:18:39 at the Houston Marathon to qualify for the US Olympic Trials. I also qualified in 2016 so I’m very proud to have been able to replicate that feat.
Where is your favorite venue to run locally?
SRT at Welborn. I love loops and there is a great 1 mile loop on dirt and rubber that I love for easy runs.
Have you run TD Bank Reedy River Run previously?
Yes. Last year I ran 31:46 finishing 6th. I hope to improve on that this year.
What is your favorite part of the course?
Not sure of my favorite part but I know the HARDEST part is that hill near the end!
Why are your running the TD Bank Reedy River Run?
It is alway fun to run locally and id love to win!
