Who is Running TD Bank Reedy River Run? - OG Gardner Is.

Over the coming days we will preview the 42nd TD Bank Reedy River Run. Today we have six questions for Greenville's OG Gardner, who will be among our "elite" field. OG placed third among the women in the 2018 10K and recently won the 49er Classic 10,000 meters on the track in Charlotte. 

How many years have you been running and why did you start?
I've been running for eight years now and initially started to help me improve for soccer. 

What is your favorite running experience?
My junior year in college when I competed in the Florida Relays track meet for steeplechase.

Where is your favorite venue to run locally?
Issaqueena Trails.

Have you run TD Bank Reedy River Run previously?
Yes and it was a wonderful experience!

What is your favorite part of the course?
Definitely the portion ran through Cleveland Park (I love hearing the animal noises from the zoo). 

Why are your running the TD Bank Reedy River Run?
The atmosphere and competition it brings is definitely something I thoroughly enjoy about the race. It's great to get out and support the community with amazing people.
